Isaac is very passionate about teaching and mentoring. He has mentored 21 undergraduate students who have gone on to be very successful. These students have attended graduate schools such as the University of Cambridge, Carnegie Mellon University, Georgia Tech, etc. These students have also had successful careers at companies such as Johnson and Johnson, Apple, & Morgan Stanley, etc. He enjoys sharing his love of science with young students and travels between elementary schools showcasing interesting specimens from his lab. Finally, Isaac also enjoys sharing his passion for music with his community. He teaches bass lessons for free every week at a local middle school and performs free concerts at places such as the San Diego Center for Children.
